Colorados’ Mountain Magic

Flying into Denver and then headed towards the west, one cannot help but be awestruck every time by the beauty of the snow capped mountains. We have returned once again to Vail to ski. Many memories swirl about reminding me of days gone by. Over the years we have visited the Colorado ski areas with family and friends. Our kids are always on my mind, showing up at every corner I turn. Their smiles stay with me reminding me of so many fun, adventurous days. As I revisit the past, I also embrace this opportunity to be here with friends whose friendship goes back many years. We are staying in a charming abode which reminds me of a Swiss chalet. This idyllic property is surrounded by architectural digest homes which speak to the current lifestyle of people embracing a different idea of comfort. Personally, I love old accommodations filled with cobbled stairs, wood beams that whisper the rich history of past lives. We all have stories to share.
